Senior Software Engineer – Java

KnownFour are currently recruiting for Senior Java Software Engineers for a
permanent opportunity working with a market-leading organization building
and deploying exciting products with leading-edge technologies.

The ideal candidates will have proven technical experience across the whole
software development life-cycle, the ability to write clean code, an
understanding of the DevOps model and principles of BDD and TDD.
The core technology is Java, but you’ll also be using Spring, Hibernate,
Agile, AWS, Ansible and Maven (or similar), OO design, Vertx as well as
others.

Successful candidates will also be strong team players with the ability to
influence and lead stakeholders when necessary, working closely with the
Product Managers to help shape the future direction of the products.
The Senior Engineers will be responsible for designing and building new
tools contributing to making the organization more efficient and this role
will best suit an individual who enjoys working as part of a team, is well
organized and pragmatic.
Someone who enjoys thinking their way around a problem, enjoys being
hands-on and who is motivated to make change for the better.
Ideally, you’ll have a desire to lead, mentor, up-skill and inspire fellow
engineers.
Strong Java experience is essential and the client offers a competitive
