Senior Product Manager, Crypto Lending

Borrowing and lending financial assets are activities that people all over the world have been doing for millenia. Given the unique properties of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, borrowing and lending can take on new shapes and forms. The Borrow/Lend PM will build compelling trusted, and easy experiences that new and existing Coinbase users can use to monetize their assets via lending and/or borrow assets in order to finance other activities.

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

  • 10+ years of developing, building, and launching technology products.
  • A strong interest and experience with credit and capital markets.
  • Demonstrated passion for cryptocurrency and the Coinbase mission.
  • Solid product design, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to create product roadmaps from initial idea to launch.

Nice to haves:

  • Knowledge of decentralized finance “DeFi”
  • Product development within the financial technology industry
  • Experience working in credit markets or the lending supply chain
  • Relevant education e.g. CFA Charterholder

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

  • Develop the strategy and roadmap for borrowing and lending products that live in the Coinbase mobile apps and website.
  • Execute all phases of the product development lifecycle, working with User Research, Product Design, and Engineering teams to ship high quality borrowing and lending experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with teams like Risk, Compliance, Support, and Security to develop the most impactful and trusted solutions.
  • Maintain a strong eye on a product experience that shows no organizational seams.
  • Build and ship features that touch all of Coinbase’s customers and enable them to have great experiences.
