The Job:
Product Management at Simple is responsible for defining the vision, strategy and roadmap in order to realize our vision of better banking. In this role, you’ll have the independence of a startup in finding the products and features that are usable, valuable, and feasible with the backing of one of the world’s most successful banks, BBVA. You’ll work alongside our research, design, data, engineering, marketing and customer service teams to help ship our product by employing careful listening, decision making, and leadership.
We’d Like To See:
- 8 years of related experience
- 5 years in product management with a consumer facing product preferred
- Experience defining and executing against a product roadmap from inception to launch.
- Strong analytical skill with the ability to derive actionable insights.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication.
What You’ll Do All Day:
- Use a mixture of judgment and customer research to create great user experiences
- Understand what is happening in the market / industry (trends) as well as in the business including the engineering/technical space
- Able to articulate your deep understanding of customer needs
- Effectively use data to make analytical decisions (including learning how to access this data on your own as necessary)
- Create effective business cases with a deep understanding of the benefits to our customers and the business
- As necessary work with vendors, engineers and/or project managers (or by yourself) to manage and execute projects
