Key Qualifications

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with design/ development of Essbase reporting cubes
  • Proficiency in Essbase technology, architecture and performance tuning
  • Deep understanding of ASO/BSO concepts
  • Hands on experience in MDX, MAXL, Shell scripting
  • Experience in writing complex load rules in Essbase and cube partitioning
  • Hands on SQL experience
  • Deep understanding of OLAP concepts and data modeling
  • Experience in programming languages like Python is a plus
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
  • Analytical and mathematical mind, capable of evaluating and solving various complex problems
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Job Responsibilities

–  You will design, build and support Essbase reporting cubes, to provide efficient analytical and reporting capabilities across Apple’s global and regional sales and finance teams. You will be responsible for fully automating Essbase data loads – daily, ad-hoc and historical. You will apply data analysis, data modeling, and quality assurance techniques to ensure data integrity in the cubes. We are a rapidly growing team with plenty of interesting technical and business challenges to solve.We seek a self starter, who is willing to learn fast, adapt well to changing requirements and work with cross functional teams.

Education & Experience

BS or MS in Engineering/ Computer Science
